| Agriculture |
- As Attorney General serving on the Land Board, Lee will bring valuable insight to develop our natural resources. Lee has been actively involved in the management of grazing and timbered lands with full knowledge of agricultural business. As a hunter and fisherman, Lee understands the benefits of public access to these lands.

| |
Child Safety
- Lee's most important role as father is to protect his family. Lee and his wife are blessed with three boys. As Attorney General, Lee will commit to keep children safe from the major threats that impose on our society. This includes the battle against Meth, stopping Internet predators, enforcing our version of Jessica's Law, and working with educators on issues of school safety.
|
|
Elder Abuse
- We must protect the vulnerability of our senior citizens. They are increasingly becoming victims of elder abuse, Internet scams, and identity theft.
|
|
Law Enforcement
- The Attorney General must ensure that law enforcement has the resources and support it needs. The State Crime Lab performs works that law enforcement and county attorneys rely on every day; yet, it is stretched to the limit and struggles to keep up with the ever increasing workload we ask of it.
|
|
Land
- Lee taught environmental law and has served on the State Board assisting businesses with petroelum cleanup, and represents both citizen and business groups involved in resource development.
- State Land Board is responsible for 5% of the land in Montana, with a value of $4.3 billion dollars. Lee has the experience Montanas can trust to protect this precious resource.

Drugs
- Lee considers Meth to be the single biggest threat to our kids statewide. My office will engage and fully support a three pronged attack on this problem:
- Education, one of our tools is the Montana Meth project.
- Interdiction, we must continue to work with local, state, and federal law enforcement to keep Meth out of Montana.
- Treatment for Meth is a long, hard road. We must continuously seek for new options to deal with this addiction and support the options that are working.

2nd Amendment
- Lee is an active member of NRA and a Montana Shooting Sports Member
- Lee is concerned about individual's right to own fire arms. Please see The Letter to the Attorney General
